Mummy: Secrets of the Tomb

Schools

Overview of the Exhibition

This exhibition tells the story of life and death in ancient Egypt through the virtual unwrapping of Nesperennub, a priest who lived and died in Egypt nearly 3,000 years ago. The exhibition will bring you and your students face to face with a man from the remote past in a unique and fascinating way. Mummy: Secrets of the Tomb will provide the only opportunity for teachers and students to see these ancient artefacts in Australia. It is a perfect way for teachers to bring ancient history to life for their students. Mummy: Secrets of the Tomb includes a 3D film experience that takes students on a journey into ancient Egypt and the exhibition experience features four human mummies and more than 100 ancient objects.
